Description
Inspired by and loosely based on Indiana Jones, Jackpot Raiders Slot is played over 20 Paylines and on a standard 5×3 grid. Head off on an action-packed adventure that’s full of jackpots, interactive features and no shortage of thrills as you join Bear and Sam hunting for riches in the legendary Sunken City!
Action in this May 2019 release takes place in a ship’s cabin, and the movie-style visuals, as always with this operator, are amazing. With no fewer than five progressive jackpots there for the taking, there’s everything to play for.
How to play
Enjoy Jackpot Raiders Slot from 20p a pop or up to £40 a go, on any device you choose.
Among the symbol set are the typically lower-paying playing-card values, alongside backpacks, Captain Bear, Sam’s hat plus Sam the explorer herself. (Actually, she’s the most lucrative icon, paying to 200x stake for five on one Payline.)
Jackpot Raiders Slot special features
Special symbols
You won’t find any Wild symbols in Jackpot Raiders Slot. There is, however, a Scatter, which only lands in the main game.
Bonus features
The Compass
Trigger this with at least a hat-trick of Scatters, or via the Pick & Click Chest feature. Once active, the compass can either launch the Treasure Hunt round or distribute 10 jackpot free whirls.
It works like this:
- Land three Scatters to get the compass
- Land four Scatters to get the compass + 50x stake
- Land five Scatters to get the compass + 500x stake
Pick and Click
You’ll see five chests, of which you need to select one. These possible goodies are waiting inside:
- 10 Jackpot free spins
- A coin win of 1x, 2x or 4x stake
- Treasure Hunt bonus feature launched
- One random map added (see below)
In all, five maps are up for grabs, each in a different colour. Once you’ve gathered five of the same maps, enjoy 10 jackpot free whirls, plus a gem adds to that reel’s line-up of jackpot gems.
As for the maps, to kick things off you’ll be given two summit shrine maps alongside one each of the other sorts of the map.
Treasure Hunt bonus round
Once the Compass feature activates this, you need to select either Bear or Sam, then your chosen character opens a chest. Sam’s more of a high-risk (i.e. better rewards, lower odds of success) kind of girl, while Bear is more likely to reveal a win, but it will be more modest.
Your character has three goes at crossing a river to reveal a chest’s contents. If they succeed, you move up a level. Each level offers greater risks and rewards than the one before.
Chests may contain relics, which you’ll need for the free spins, as described below.
Free spins
This slot has two kinds of freebie features:
- Jackpot free spins come with a built-in 3x multiplier – and players collect the jackpot gems
- Sunken City free spins is playable when you gather five relics via the Treasure Hunt round mentioned above. A 10x multiplier applies, and you also get a gem for each jackpot
Jackpot
As mentioned, Jackpot Raider Slot has an impressive five progressive jackpots up for grabs. Each one has its own colour, and you scoop one of these prizes by gathering five gems in a similar shade via any of the pair of free whirls rounds you can play.
The size of the pots will vary given the progressive nature of these prizes, but here are the minimum sums you can expect to pocket:
- Forgotten jackpot – at least £40
- Rare jackpot – at least £200
- Mythical jackpot – at least £600
- Ancient jackpot – at least £1,500
- Legendary jackpot – at least £15,000
Return to Player (RTP)
There’s a fairly bog-standard (but far from bad) RTP or Return to Player of 96.3% in Jackpot Raiders. And you should find it a mid-variance offering.
Verdict
You’ll find plenty to enjoy in Jackpot Raiders Slot. There’s certainly a huge amount going on here. But, as we always say (because it’s true), it really will all fall into place once you get playing.
Take it for a spin in free mode first of all, and let us know how you get on!
