Kronos is a slot from WMS Gaming based on Greek mythology, featuring the standard five reels with 20 Paylines. Kronos was the leader of the Titans, a descendant of Gaia. He was also the father of Zeus, whom he deposed. In slot terms, Kronos Slot is the popular sequel to the established Zeus game.
Look out for the stacked Wilds in the base game, plus a cracking free spins feature.
How to play
Symbols are all derived from Greek mythology and include lower-value playing card suits among the eleven icons. (Diamonds, clubs, spades and hearts.) Among the other icons are Mount Olympus, an ornamental ring and Pegasus (the winged horse).
You’ll also find the usual Autopay and Spin buttons here.
Because symbols on Kronos Slot pay from left to right and vice versa (i.e. both ways), you have more chances of winning.
Play from anything between 20p and £60 a spin, while coin sizes in the game range from 1p to £3.
Kronos Slot special features
The lion’s head icon is the Wild, which shows up on Reels 2 through 4, while the Scatter is the symbol with the letter K on it.
The Wild will display on Reels 2 through 4 and replaces all icons apart from the feature ones. You’ll need the gold medallion for the free spins feature, while the Kronos Slot symbol is stacked – i.e. symbols appear on top of each other rather than just showing a single icon.
Kronos is shown as standing tall with his chest puffed out, huge arms on display and tightly clenched fists. Land a winning combo with him and he spreads himself across the reels, using his unearthly powers to help create amazing wins.
This exciting round can land you up to 100 free spins with five of the relevant symbols, so it’s where you can seriously enhance your winnings. As is fairly standard, you launch this by landing at least three of the Scatter icons.
Three of the feature symbols will win you 10 free spins, grabbing four bags you 25.
Unfortunately, extra free spins cannot be triggered during this round, while at the same time neither are there any multipliers.
The 100 free spins potential, though, is definitely not to be sneezed at, indeed not many slot games offer such a mouth-watering prospect. It should certainly help make up for the lack of multipliers or extra spins.
Return to Player (RTP)
At 95.94%, this is a whisker below industry standard, but not the lowest there is and fairly player-friendly nonetheless.
Kronos Slot is possibly suited to the player who not only wants a bigger win (we all want that!) but is also prepared to wait for it. While it’s similar to the classic Zeus game, some industry insiders are confident it’s a considerable improvement, with wins which are potentially bigger.
Success is in the lap of the gods – but you can hope for some heavenly wins here! See for yourself, and remember to let us know how you get on.
