The fairytale of the Snow Queen dates back to when Hans Christian Andersen wrote it in 1844. The story features a magic mirror which reflects the evil aspects of those who gaze in it and serves as a study in good and evil.
2 By 2 Gaming has brought the famous tale up-to-date with this 5×3 Snow Queen Riches slot incorporating 25 set-in-stone Paylines.
The game’s icons float on see-through reels, while the background encompasses a frozen wasteland, including a Disney-style magical castle, the Snow Queen’s home. It’s all set to some jaunty orchestral music, which you can choose to mute if you want to.
How to play
You’ll see five regular icons on the reels. These incorporate the pair of kids who feature in the original fairytale (Kai and Gerda), the mirror, reindeer and roses.

The Snow Queen herself serves as your Wild emblem here. You’ll only see her on the central three reels, where she replaces all other symbols to help create winning combinations. The exception, as ever, is the Scatter, here represented as a castle.
Whenever the queen rocks up on those middle three reels, she spreads to take up the entire reel; equally, you’ll also be in line for a single wager-free respin.
