Played on a standard 5×3 layout with 20 Paylines, Wolf Hunter from Yggdrasil is werewolf-themed and medium-to-high variance. There’s a creepy castle backdrop, as you join hunters tracking down the beast terrorising town.
Symbols include playing cards, stakes, poison bottles, monster traps and the wolf himself, alongside Scatters and a Wild.
When the werewolf displays, a hunter takes aim. If they score a hit, the symbol becomes a sticky Wild, plus you get a free respin. Each hit reduces the wolf’s life by 1 point, and when it gets to zero, the Slayer free spins round begins. Hunters also gather points to trigger the Rage free spins.
In all, there are three free spins rounds; launch the standard one by bagging a pair of Scatters on the reels for 10 freebies.
Wolf Hunters is fun and creepy, and you should particularly enjoy it if you loved Yggdrasil’s Vikings series.
