Most tracks feature a Ladies Day of course, but few manage to bag a prime Saturday afternoon in the middle of June and that is where Bath has a major advantage.
Marketed as a chance to experience the style, drama, music and food alongside live horse racing this really is a special day on the racing calendar by any track’s standards.
While the majority, of course, wish to dress up for the occasion and competitions are run marking the best outfits, this meeting unlike its equivalents at Royal Ascot and Epsom doesn’t have a dress code other than in hospitality areas so guests can feel free to dress as they wish!
The racing itself is highlighted, very fittingly, by a five-furlong handicap which forms part of the Silk Series with only female jockeys taking part. Another six races are scheduled to back this up, with a fine crowd providing a cracking atmosphere.
