In mid to late September comes another of Wolverhampton’s popular racing fixtures on the Tapeta all-weather track, this time their Autumn Evening Racing event.
On the sidelines, racegoers will find another typically raucous Saturday night atmosphere and can book great advance packages with varying benefits, such as the More the Merrier and Horizons Restaurant packages, while on the track the action is enthralling.
While not the highest quality, the seven-race card at this meeting is very competitive and features a good mix of races including classified stakes, two sprint handicaps, the feature seven-furlong fillies handicap as well as another race over the same distance, a one-mile novice event while the “lucky last” is the mile-and-a-half handicap.
On course, bookmaking is also competitive here so those attending can grab the best price possible for their chosen horses, something that adds to the whole evening racing experience.
