The Summer Cup at Uttoxeter is a Listed steeplechase that allows horses that are at least five years old to enter. It takes place over three miles and two furlongs. Usually, it is in the calendar for the end of June or the beginning of July. It has been taking place since 2000, originally having a distance of four miles. It was in 2012 that the name and distance were changed. It is a real test of stamina that has a lot of tricky twists and turns.
Noel Fehily is the most successful jockey in the Summer Cup, having won the race on four different occasions.
