Description
Played between 2-10 players, Texas Hold’em Professional Series is one of the most popular poker card game variants. This variant offers a unique gameplay in which two cards are given as the hole cards and dealt face down to each player, while five cards are dealt face up.
The visual appeal of the game is quite stunning which is what you would expect from a renowned software developer like NetEnt. The game loads up to the regular green felt table where gameplay will take off.
At the top right hand corner is where the poker cards will be dealt from. At the bottom are the controls where you can decide how you want the game to play out.
How to play
To start Texas Hold’Em Professional Series, you would have to make a wager. At the bottom of the screen are different chips. These chips exist in four forms; 1 coin, 5 coins, 10 coins, and red x. The latter will cancel off any bets placed.
To place a bet, click the chips you want onto the circle marked ‘Ante’. You can place a bet of at least 1 coin up to a maximum of 40 coins per hand.
With your wager in place, you can go ahead and press the Deal button. This will deal out two cards to you and the dealer. The dealer’s cards are dealt face down while you will be allowed to view your own. You then get to decide whether to ‘Call’ or ‘Fold’. If you choose the latter, the round will come to an end and your bet will be lost.
Choosing the Call function will double your wager and three face up poker cards will be dealt to the centre of the table. The type of hand you have will be displayed at the right-hand side of the two cards dealt at the beginning of the round.
Here, you can choose ‘Bet’ or ‘Check’. The Bet option will see you place an equal bet to your original stake while the Check option means you would stay with the cards dealt to be compared against the dealer’s. If you choose to Bet, a fourth card will be dealt to the centre and you will be offered the same options again.
A payout is awarded if you’re holding the higher hand. Winnings are paid out based on the type of hand achieved, however, the payouts aren’t as incredible as you would expect from a slot with such exciting gameplay. For any winning hand of the player that beats the dealer’s, the payout is 1:1
