Valentine’s Victory is what’s known as a combo slot, making it one of the more unusual games on offer, and meaning you won’t find any of the usual Paylines featured in most slots here. (Although you will find a pretty standard five reels and three rows.)
It’s medium variance and developed by Random Logic, the in-house software developer of 888.
Rather than Paylines, winnings are based on up to five combos which can crop up, all including formations of between four and five heart-shaped symbols.
To the right of the reels and against a backdrop of blue sky and sunshine, a little golden-curled Cupid character can be seen floating dreamily away on a cloud, bringing an element of Greek mythology to proceedings. There’s also some subtle detailing including twists of ribbon in the visuals.
Valentine’s Victory is nothing if not cute. But it doesn’t have to be February 14th for you to play or enjoy it.
How to play
It may be a little different to the standard slot fare, but it’s more straightforward to play and get used to than you may think initially, and will appeal to newcomers as well as more experienced players.
Coin sizes in this game range from 25p to £500. The idea is to create the combos of four or five identical symbols wherever possible on the reels.
Valentine’s Victory essentially has seven heart-shaped emblems, all of which are sweet treats of some kind. The highest-paying, a little box of chocs, is worth 500x total wager if you land four of them in a row.
