Description
Presented across five reels with four rows, Lilith’s Inferno Slot is a 25-Payline slot from Scandinavian operator Yggdrasil Gaming’s YGS Masters partnership scheme, and it was devised by Hong Kong-based studio AvatarUX. Look forward to charismatic, compelling characters plus an absorbing storyline from this spring 2018 release.
Descend into a blazing underworld populated by some superbly creepy guardians, who you’ll need to fight (and preferably kill) if you are to be in with a chance of winning.
How to play
Choose your bet level from a mere 10p up to a high-stakes £150 and play on your device of choice. Land a winning combo by scooping at least three of the same symbol types on a line, with payouts worked out against total stake.
The base game has eight regular symbols, kicking off with a quartet of standard lower-value playing cards, whose look is refreshed here. The other four icons are all underworld guardians, paying up to a maximum of 24x stake if you land five of the highest paying gatekeeper (the red one) on one line.
Lilith’s Inferno Slot special features
Special symbols
The Wild in this slot does its usual thing of standing in for all of the regular symbols to help you win. Meanwhile, the gorilla serves as your Scatter, your ticket to the free spins.
Bonus features
While most slots heat up once the bonus features kick in, that somehow seems truer of Lilith’s Inferno than most:
Free spins
Activate this round in the usual way with three Scatters or more, and win as follows:
- Three Scatters win you between 10 and 20 freebies
- Land four to enjoy between 15 and 30 freebies
- Land five to enjoy between 25 and 50 freebies
As you can see, that’s a nice little haul of freebies!
Fight feature
This is a hugely popular part of Lilith’s Inferno. As you play your free spins, keep an eye out for the Fight symbols – landing a pair will trigger this bonus and get you into a fight with one of the underworld guardians.
Click on your opponent to whack him – in turn, he will then counterattack, or you will be hit or blocked. If you win, the defeated gatekeeper turns Wild for the duration of the free whirls round and scoops you another pair of wager-free spins. Lose and you’ll just be returned to the free spins round.
Additionally, you can bag three gorillas from Reel 5 during the feature to bag a further four freebies, while a 3x multiplier also then applies.
Should you finish the round with a gorilla Scatter or two gathered, these become random Wilds for your final whirl. So if you defeat all four gatekeepers, you essentially get to play with a quartet of extra Wilds.
You should find the graphics move up a notch in this round, too.
Jackpot
The top prize in Lilith’s Inferno is 3,968x stake. In keeping with most of Yggdrasil’s offerings, there’s no progressive jackpot here.
Return to Player (RTP)
You’ll find the Return to Player or RTP in this game is slightly above average at 96.4%, with volatility somewhere in the middle of the spectrum or perhaps a little higher. Hit frequency is slightly under one in four at 22.1%.
Verdict
Reviewers have commented that Lilith’s Inferno isn’t one of Yggdrasil’s most gorgeous-looking offerings, but it’s still pretty nice to look at even in the base game, while the graphics move up a gear during the features.
One reviewer pointed out that some patience may be needed, and that, given the bonus rounds were so busy, in contrast, the main game could feel ‘a slog’.
But it should still seem a decent effort anyway. Take it for a whirl in free demo mode to see if it suits your preferred playing style.
