We’re loving the now vast array of TV-themed online bingo games, but if you’re going to produce one then surely you should go big, or go home?
Well, GVC Holdings/Entain and Foxy Bingo did just that when they released their Friends Bingo game. There simply has never been a bigger TV show in existence. Tens of millions of people around the world are still obsessed with Rachael, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey and Phoebe and millions more love a game of bingo – making this the perfect combo!
How to play
The game in essence is a standard 90-ball bingo game, costing from 0.05 to 0.50 credits a ticket. Friends is available to play 24 hours a day and a jackpot is involved which we’ll take you through shortly – the Central Perk Jackpot!
Cards are in a Friends-style layout and font and this game is exclusive to Foxy Bingo, so you’ll need to be a member there if you want to get involved.
How to Play Friends Bingo
A 90-ball game, Friends Bingo is set in a rather unfussy bingo room leaving behind all the frills and sticking to the point. The bingo cards remind you of the TV show immediately.
Pictures of the six eponymous cast members are on screen while the cards sit amid an immediately recognisable New York scene. Ticket sizes can be changed, sounds are optional and different online ‘dabbers’ can be used too.
The basic premise is the same as any other 90-ball bingo game. As numbers are called they are marked off your card, with one-line, two-line and full house prizes awarded.
The Central Perk Jackpot Feature
The Central Perk bonus is what you’re really playing for here. The Central Perk ticket, named after the friends’ favourite coffee shop, comes into play when the main game ends.
If the winning full house number is not marked on the Central Perk Ticket then the full house winner can claim an added prize. The amount is decided depending on whether the number makes up a line or a full house on the extra ticket.
Every number you cross off the extra ticket leads to a 2 credit win. If you can complete a line however, a 20 credit win comes your way while two lands you 25 credits. Get the full house in the extra game and you walk away with another £75 credits!
Return to Player for Friends Bingo
Really, games like this are all about the entertainment, but we still like to know everything is kept fair. In Friends Bingo, much like with most online bingo games, over a month the overall Return to Player percentage is kept above 80% which is fine for a game of this nature.
TV themed bingo games are easy to produce, but sometimes the best things in life are simple. Friends Bingo is an automatic winner, as is 90-ball bingo, so the combination of the two definitely keeps players entertained for as long as they want. Prize wins are fairly regular here too!
