Fruit Warp, from independent casino software supplier Thunderkick and available across various providers, doesn’t look like your average conventional slot. It’s entirely without Paylines and Scatters, Wilds or even reels.
Instead, a line-up of fruits flies towards you on the screen every time you spin. Aim to get a combo of at least three of them. Land five of a kind to launch Fruit Mode, where a Warp Meter is on hand to multiply your wins!
How to play
Fruit Warp offers an inventive new take on the classic fruit machine. The graphics provide your five a day! Oranges, grapes, cherries, strawberries and similar icons are set against a basic green background, and each spin causes nine random symbols to float around the screen, alongside small bubbles. The effect is almost as though you were wearing 3D glasses.
The dragon fruit is the highest-paying symbol, landing you a whopping 216 times your initial stake. Equally, should the Kiwano melon and the star fruit land nine times, you get 45 and 42 times your stake respectively.
The jingly sound effects are heightened during a win, or once any of the bonus games is activated.
Play from between 10p and £100 a spin, or just for fun, on the PC or mobile device of your choice. If you bag a win, the prize pops up from each relevant item of fruit. You’ll also find the usual Autoplay feature here.
How to win
Find three of the same types of fruit anywhere on your screen. Get four of the same and the thing re-spins, activating the bonus features, while the winning symbols remain, to be replaced with a new line-up.
If you can see five of the same symbol on the screen, this activates the Fruit Mode, and you’ll also be able to see a Warp Meter. It’s all pretty similar to a free spins idea. Every spin landing a symbol of the activated Fruit Mode moves a step along the Warp Meter. You win a fresh re-spin when at least one symbol is matching the Fruit Mode – unless, of course, the meter is already full. Should you activate an ‘extra life’ bonus, this grants you an additional re-spin provided no symbol matches the Fruit Mode type.
At the same time, dynamic multipliers go up in value for every win until their value becomes locked. How many symbols there are in a win determines the size of the multiplier.
Customise your play
Change the sound settings, game speed and toggle the game’s various features, and turn the intro on or off. If you wanted to, you can play up to as many as 5,000 times without interruption.
Return to Player (RTP)
The RTP or Return to Player with Fruit Warp isn’t bad at all at 97.0%.
Some in the industry have seen Fruit Warp as so distinctive that it’s almost more like an arcade game than a traditional slot. But it’s also been described as ‘one you can’t possibly ignore’, and as potentially highly profitable. Give it a whirl!
