Colourful Toki Time from Thunderkick is a five-reeler with 11 Paylines which recalls Japanese console games of the ‘90s. A country view that looks drawn by a child forms the backdrop.
Instead of the standard reels, symbols shoot out of holes in the ground to effectively form them, all cute characters in red, green, yellow blue or purple. There’s also a star and a cloud. Meanwhile, the Wild, a sheep-like beast, triggers the bonus round.
There are relatively few Paylines, but it’s a win both ways, i.e. you form winning combos from left to right and vice versa.
The Wild only appears on Reels 2 and 4, filling the space. And if it forms part of a winning combo, it stays there while you enjoy a respin, with the whirls continuing until there are no more winning combos.
Compelling despite the minimal features, there’s also an above-average RTP of 97.1%.
