About FOX Bet

Online and mobile sports betting brand FOX Bet aims to bring fans closer to their favourite games and includes highly informed commentary and sporting insights.

It’s a joint venture formed in the summer of 2019 between media giants the FOX Sports channel and The Stars Group (home to PokerStars and which now belongs to Flutter Entertainment), with the goal of bringing mobile and online sports betting to the American market. (Effectively, it’s the BetStars sportsbook rebranded.)

Sports betting, casino offerings, in-play wagering and poker are all here under a single virtual roof, and are also offered via mobile apps for both Android and iOS devices.

The apps have just about everything you see on the desktop, and it’s easy to switch between the two. You should also find both mobile and desktop versions easy to navigate, with an intuitive layout.

At the time of writing, it’s fully licensed in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, with further licences set to follow suit.

Huge Choice of Sports at FOX Bet

There’s certainly a strong line-up of different activities here; equally, it’s easy to switch between the various sports if you fancy trying something different.

Everything from football to baseball, hockey to soccer, golf, tennis and MMA is covered. Expect to see major leagues like NBA and NFL, given the focus on the US market.

Cricket, cycling and more are also here, so there’s always a new activity to have a punt on, and a good range of different kinds of bet is available within each sport, including custom wagers.

Live and in-play betting give customers even greater choice for having a punt, whatever your sporting activity of choice. Generally, live events offer proposition bets (i.e. you’re gambling on a particular event in the game such as first to score, which won’t affect the final result).

While most live betting is on US sports, domestic football leagues worldwide are also covered.

Bag a bonus

Newbies can enjoy a $20 cash bonus on signing up, and this is a no-deposit perk. A 100% match deposit bonus worth up to $100 is also up for grabs, with applicable wagering requirements.

Other great perks include daily odds boosts, and a loyalty scheme allowing participation in the much-liked Stars Rewards programme.

Customer service

Unfortunately, at the time of writing, email was the only way of getting in touch with customer services.

In terms of deposits and withdrawals, a range of e-wallet methods is available, including PayPal, Skrill and Neteller. The minimum deposit is $10, minimum withdrawal $20. Some banks may add their own fee to deposit requests, and not all US banks process requests for gambling websites.

Summing up

At the time of writing, FOX Bet was not a household name, but its parent organisations are, and we’re sure this operator’s popularity will increase steadily.

Particularly if you’re interested in the US sports betting markets, this is definitely one that’s worth keeping an eye on.
